The tiny lace-like white patterns of Kelp encrusting bryozoans (Membranipora tuberculata) on a blade of kelp (Macrocystis pyrifera). White from the Bryozoans on the back side of the blade show through the translucent brown of the kelp, giving this photograph warm orange tones.
