Luckily there are some fantastic places to dive in my home state of California. Casino Point Underwater Park on Catalina Island is a personal favorite, and home to some gorgeous underwater landscapes, like this California Golden Gorgonian (Muricea californica) growing on the rocky reef near the kelp beds.
