Story behind the shot
I was out shooting photos of leopard sharks at La Jolla Shores and the sharks were doing laps up and down the beach. I spotted some drift kelp and wanted to add it to the composition, but the sharks were taking their time and the kelp on its own turned out looking better than the sharks.
