Ghost Goby on Soft Coral
Story behind the shot
My buddy Curt and I were diving near the shore of Karumolun village in the Solomon Islands, and he spotted this tiny Ghost Goby (Pleurosicya micheli), measuring no more than 1/2” long, sitting perched on a branch of a soft coral. I could tell by the smile on his face that he had spotted something special, so I came over to photograph it and was very stoked to get the shot before the goby swam away.
