Pimu Spreads Her Wings

Pimu, a Bald Eagle who was disabled by a badly-broken wing, lives in an enclosure in the Eagle Sanctuary near Middle Ranch in the interior of Catalina Island.
The Eagle Sanctuary is a regular stop on Catalina Island Conservancy jeep tours.
The Catalina Island Conservancy has a long-standing partnership with the Institute for Wildlife Studies to reintroduce the native bald eagle population to the island.
