The "Spanish Dancer" Flatworm - Pseudobiceros gloriosus

Story behind the shot

I met a girl named Jenny at Matava Resort, and we got to talking about flatworms, and she excitedly told me about a huge “Spanish Dancer” Flatform (Pseudobiceros gloriosus) that she had named Fernando, and she really wanted a picture of him. I couldn’t resist the opportunity to document the beast, so Jenny grabbed one of the boat drivers and off we went. She warned me that the dive site wasn’t very exciting (nicknamed the Boring Mooring), as it was a boat mooring there wasn’t much to see…other than Fernando. We never did find the real Fernando, but here’s a photograph of what may be the brother of Fernando.
