Story behind the shot
Towards the end of a dive in the shallow waters off Darwin Island in the Galapagos, I noticed this Hawksbill sea turtle (Eretmochelys imbricata) about to swim overhead. I changed my camera settings as quickly as I could, pointed up, and just at the right moment I released the shutter and got this shot of the turtle “In Flight”.
